Camaro SS tune. Nashville.
The LT1 6.2 in the Gen 6 Camaro SS responds aggressively to a properly mapped tune. Stage 1 alone is good for 25–35 wheel hp + dramatic throttle improvement on 93 octane. Long-tubes + cam swap territory is where it gets interesting.
Every Carma tune includes.

What we do for the ss.
We tighten the spark map, optimize fuel trims, and unlock the safe timing GM left behind. The LT1 is a sweet platform — fueling is conservative from the factory, so there's real headroom on 93 octane. Stage 2 with headers + cam is where 550+ wheel hp on pump gas becomes the norm.
- Factory file pulled and archived (free stock-revert anytime)
- Custom-mapped for your exact mod combination
- Safe map flashed and road-tested in-house
- Cam-swap mapping covered (we map post-cam builds in-house)
- Lifetime support on revisions

Common questions.
Will the dealer detect the tune on my Camaro SS?
GM stores a tune-flag the dealer can read. We offer free stock-revert before any planned dealer visit and re-flash after — included with every tune we did.
Stage 1 vs Stage 2 — how much hp difference?
Stage 1: +25–35 wheel hp on stock. Stage 2 with long-tubes + intake: +60–90 wheel hp. Cam swap pushes well past 550 wheel hp.
Do I need 93 octane?
Yes for Stage 1 and Stage 2 maps. The LT1 pulls timing aggressively on low octane and you'll lose the power you paid for.
How long does the Camaro SS appointment take?
Stage 1: 2–3 hours. Stage 2 with parts install: full day. Cam swap: multi-day project, scoped ahead.
